Class offerings

  • Level 1 - Yoga Beginner

    For beginner students new to yoga.

    Students learn correct alignment and movement in basic yoga poses with the help of props. Highly therapeutic techniques to help back problems, tight hamstrings, bad necks, etc, and stressed-out bodies.

    Level 1 classes also help train the mind to remain alert and focused. Classes always end with relaxing poses to soothe the mind and allow for a good night’s sleep.

  • Level 1 & 2

    Basic yoga poses are presented in more challenging ways, focusing on the fundamentals.

    Students start to build more strength, stamina, and flexibility in these classes.

    Inversion, back-bends, and arm balances are introduced at this level.

    Classes always end with relaxing poses to soothe the mind and allow for a good night’s sleep.

  • Private Classes & Events

    Mande is available for private yoga classes in her conveniently located Ponsonby studio.

    Private classes can be regular, or one-off events and are tailored to meet your needs, goals and level(s) of ability.

    The well-equipped studio in the heart of Ponsonby has everything you need onsite including props and mats.

  • Yin Yoga Saturday Workshops

    Join Mande on the First Saturday of each month for Yin Yoga.

    yin yoga targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones.

    It’s slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body.

    Because you’re holding poses for a longer period of time than you would in other traditional types of yoga, yin yoga helps you stretch and lengthen those rarely-used tissues while also teaching you how to breathe through discomfort and sit with your thoughts.
